Space Station
Space Station 3D, the first IMAX 3D space film, takes audiences along with astronauts and cosmonauts from Florida's Kennedy Space Center and Russia's Baikonur Cosmodrome as they travel 220 miles above Earth at 17,500 miles per hour to the Space Station.
The film tells the story of the unique partnership of 16 nations that built this laboratory in outer space. Viewers follow these space explorers as they study the effects of long-duration exposure to zero gravity and take the necessary first step towards the global cooperative effort needed if humans are to someday set foot on Mars. |
